Save the Bridge

Help Save the Bridge crossing the Little Sioux River known as:

High Bridge, Tielbur Bridge, or Nielsen River Access Bridge

Community members are working to bring attention to the need to repair and maintain this bridge.

This bridge was damaged in the 2024 Clay County, Iowa Flood

FEMA money has been allocated to fix the bridge
We need the Clay County Board of Supervisors to support fixing the bridge
FEMA money for the bridge may be at risk of being reallocated.
The bridge is critical for rapid EMS response time during emergencies.
The bridge is a very important access point connecting the community for businesses, families, farmers, and UPS delivery.
The Bridge is part of the High Bridge Wildlife Area.
